Lung-on-a-Chip Featured on the Cover of Lab Medicine

BME core faculty members Shuichi Takayama PhD and James Grotberg PhD received the cover feature in Laboratory Medicine for the April 2009 issue. The article, titled, "Microfluidics, Lung Surfactant, and Respiratory Disorders" details the microfluidic research being done at U-M BME nicknamed "lung-on-a-chip."
