BME Professor Featured in Newsweek

BME core faculty member Daryl Kipke PhD was featured in Newsweek for the July 13, 2009 issue. The article, titled,"How Science Will Enhance Your Brain" details his company's latest prototype state-of-the-art electronic chip that can be planted in your brain to deliver electronic signals to specific clusters of cells. Kipke and his firm, NeuroNexus Technologies, are testing this chip to see if it will relieve some of the symptoms of Parkinson's disease, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and depression.
