RESEARCH TRAINING:

I am very interested in techniques intended to increase the efficiency of therapeutic drugs by facilitating their transport into target cells. At UCSB, my research has involved designing multiple chambered liposomes for use as drug transport vehicles. I have also spent time researching the effects of candidate genes on atherosclerosis in vivo at UM Medical School.
